Our Origins
Meredith Bay Colony Club came into being because Jim Murray as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Director of Assisted Living at Goldenview Health Care Center together with Ben Sanders, Manager of Golden View realized the need for full service retirement community was not being met in the Lakes Region. Their dream to offer something more to the Lakes Region has resulted in beautifully designed retirement residences, assisted living apartments, a dedicated Memory Support Center and unrivaled amenities.
Before opening its doors in June 2009 MBCC sought out the best and the brightest. We have put together a seasoned management team with an impressive track record of successfully developing and managing senior living properties in the Lakes Region. In fact, MBCC's on-site Management Team has more combined experience than any other retirement community in New Hampshire.
Our Staff
Jim Murray is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MBCC and brings to the position not only the perspective of a Founder, but also 20 years of experience in senior health care and assisted living operations, management, planning and consulting. Prior to the development of MBCC he held a leadership role at Golden View Health Care Center a Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facility in the Lakes Region.
Howard Chandler is Vice-President and in that role assumes primary responsibility for The Club portion of MBCC. Howard is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Before joining MBCC he held a leadership role for over 25 years in the development of one of New Hampshire's largest multi-campus continuing care retirement communities.
Kurt Roessler is MBCC's Executive Chef. His goal is to have you savor the dining experience at MBCC. Enjoy a variety of his delicious culinary creations, skillfully prepared and served with style. Enjoy regional favorites, traditional home-style meals and exciting new recipes. Kurt will always find something delicious to tempt your palate.
Michael Reynolds is MBCC's Director of Facilities and is responsible for the building, grounds and environmental services. When something needs to be done Mike and his staff will be available to manage all you moving, installing and fixing needs. Mike comes to us with significant facilities management experience including multi-building commercial management.
